Supporting Students and Student-Athletes throughout Lubbock Schools

When we look around the community, we know the future is bright thanks to many young leaders making a difference in Lubbock schools. Affordable Storage is a dedicated partner to the youth community through our support for organizations like Communities in Schools and Make-A-Wish Foundation. We are also proud to sponsor many opportunities that shine a light on youth education and sportsmanship. Here are just a few of the programs funded in part by Affordable Storage!

Frenship High School

Frenship Tennis in Wolfforth is a high school tennis team and an outstanding group of kids who recently had an impressive season! Affordable Storage is a proud donor to Frenship Tennis so student-athletes can continue to take advantage of their high-quality playing facilities and improve their skills. We are big fans of Frenship Tennis, and you can be, too! Lubbock High School

Lubbock High School serves grades 9-12 with nearly 2,000 students in this 5-A school. Extracurricular activities and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs can provide a lifelong impact on these students. We support Lubbock High students through program donations, including choir and robotics. The Lubbock community benefits when we support future leaders and difference-makers!

Donations help these students attend annual events including DisneyWorld for the choir group. The robotics team participates in several challenges throughout the year. Sponsorships are greatly appreciated so students can build competitive robots. Best of luck, robotics team!

Dunbar College Preparatory Academy

Dunbar College Preparatory Academy is a charter school located in Lubbock with 565 students in grades 6-8. Having an athletic program is critical to many students who thrive in sportsmanship and the positive influence it has. We believe strong leadership and confidence skills can be learned through sports participation. We are thrilled to donate to the Dunbar athletics program to support tomorrow’s leaders today!

A huge thank you to the school and athletic leadership who help make these programs and many more possible for Lubbock students. Our community is a better one when kids and students have access to extracurricular activities that set a solid foundation for their future.
