If there’s one thing that pretty much everyone can agree on, it’s that fall is one of the best times of the year. When the temperature starts to cool off, there’s a crisp in the air, and pumpkins start to appear in grocery stores, on front porches, and even in your coffee, you know fall has arrived. And while Lubbock, Texas isn’t exactly the first place you might think of when it comes to fall foliage and rapidly decreasing temperatures, Affordable Storage is trying to change that.

Affordable Storage is proud to sponsor Lubbock’s 2021 Pumpkin Trail and bring some autumnal vibes to West Texas. Every year, the City of Lubbock puts on an impressive, festive Pumpkin Trail that’s fun for the whole family, and this is the 13th anniversary of the event. Read on to learn more about the event and what you can expect this year.

It’s Fall in the Hub City

Even though it might still feel like summer was just yesterday, fall has officially arrived in the Hub City. And with that comes all the fabulous fall activities you and your family can participate in this season. There’s obviously trick-or-treating to be had on Halloween, scary movies to be seen, farmer’s markets to visit, hayrides to go on, apples to pick, and so much more fun to be had. But, one of the most exciting autumn adventures you can go on in Lubbock is the Pumpkin Trail!

The City of Lubbock partners with businesses across the 806 to provide this fun, free, immersive fall-time activity that’s sure to bring out your inner child! The Pumpkin Trail features plenty of lighted jack-o-lanterns to ignite the Halloween spirit, and Affordable Storage is just happy to help out!

Affordable Storage is Sponsoring the Pumpkin Trail

Because the Lubbock Pumpkin Trail is such a time-honored tradition, Affordable Storage is proud to be the main sponsor of the event! We love to get involved in our community, and this might just be our favorite event of the year. We work alongside the Lubbock Parks and Recreation department as well as the Garden and Arts Center to put this event on for the community. And we have a pretty good time doing it, as well.

Not only do all our employees at Affordable Storage get to carve their own pumpkin for the trail, featuring their own original designs, but our owner and founder, Michael Postar, also puts up his own cemetery display in the patch, so keep your eye out! You definitely don’t want to miss this one!

We hope you’ll join us this fall season at the Lubbock Pumpkin Trail. It truly is a fun, exciting event that we are lucky to be involved in! If you’d like to check it out, the trail can be accessed from two main locations, the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum at 4111 University and the Lubbock Municipal Garden and Arts Center at 4215 University. The Pumpkin Trail runs from October 21-24, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, 9:00 a.m.- 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 9:00 a.m.- 9:00p.m. on Sunday. We hope to see you there!
