Lubbock, Texas (May 14, 2021) – Michael Postar’s Affordable Storage, a West Texas storage company and community supporter, is the Presenting Sponsor for the Community in Schools (CIS) of the South Plains Gala this month. The CIS Gala is a yearly fundraising campaign and event that is open to the public. This year the theme is Masquerade: Unmasking Barriers to Education, and you are invited to join the fun on May 21^st at 7:00 p.m. for an evening of dinner, cocktails, entertainment, exciting charity auction, and other fun fundraising activities. CIS is a non-profit organization focused giving every child the “Five Basics.” The five basic needs and rights for every child are a one-on-one relationship with a caring adult, a safe place to learn and grow, a healthy start and a healthy future, a marketable skill to use upon graduation, and a chance to give back to community and peers. Each Basic is critical to keeping students in school and helping them prepare for life. The Basics are, quite simply, what every parent wants for his or her own children.
