As the winter months approach, staying warm is a necessity, but not everyone in our community has the resources to purchase proper winter clothing. This year, Michael Postar’s Affordable Storage and A-Plus Super Storage are stepping up to help through their annual Community Coat Drive!
The goal of this drive is simple: to collect new or gently used coats, jackets, and winter accessories for those in need. All donations will benefit Communities in Schools – South Plains and Lubbock Impact, two local organizations dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of Lubbock’s most vulnerable populations.
– Communities in Schools – South Plains works within schools to ensure that at-risk students stay in school and achieve their highest potential. Warm coats can make all the difference in keeping these kids healthy and focused on learning through the cold winter months.
– Lubbock Impact serves the local community by providing hot meals, healthcare, and clothing to individuals and families in need. Your coat donation could provide warmth and comfort to someone experiencing hardship this winter.

The coat drive is ongoing, and you can participate by dropping off coats at any of Michael Postar’s Affordable Storage or A-Plus Super Storage locations. Every coat counts, whether it’s for a child or an adult. If you’re looking to clean out your closet or want to purchase a new coat to donate, this is a simple way to give back and directly impact someone in your community.
