1. Drain the water system. Any water left in the water or waste tanks can freeze and cause damage to your water lines. Add non-toxic RV winterizing antifreeze to prevent pipes and tanks from freezing. Check your owner’s manual for a step-by-step guide on this critical process.

5. Store your RV properly. Driveways might seem like the most convenient option, but that may expose your camper to harsher temperatures and critters looking for a home. Never park your RV directly under trees as tree sap and bird droppings can be very difficult to remove.
